The Company was founded in 1994 under the name Alexander Mill Services International based on American technology and capital. The main activity of the company was provision of maintenance services for the metallurgy industry as well as production of road aggregates from steel slags. Alexander Mill Services International operated in Poland, Romania, Portugal and Greece.
We initiated our operations in July 1994 by signing a contract with steelworks Huta L.W. in Warsaw. In subsequent years, we entered into cooperation with two more steelworks: „Huta Ostrowiec” and „Huta Zawiercie”.
W 2007 roku firma Alexander Mill Services International stała się częścią Harsco Corporation i zmieniła nazwę na Harsco Metals Polska Sp. z o.o.
Harsco Metals Polska Sp. z o.o. is the leading manufacturer of road aggregates obtained from steel slags and input scrap. In addition, the company also provides specialized services for ironworks.
We currently have our production facilities in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (at ironworks Huta Celsa Ostrowiec) and in Zawiercie (at ironworks „ Huta CMC Poland”). In addition to evacuation of slag from the current production of steel plant, we also process metallurgical and foundry dumps that until now constituted a large urban and ecological issue. In this way, we contribute to the improvement of our natural environment and conservation of natural stone resources.
From the beginning of its activity, Harsco Metals Polska has been complying with all regulations related to environmental protection. Road aggregates produced by the company meet environmental and quality requirements of Polish standard 13242:2004+A1:2010.
